The Eastern Regional Committee granted recognition to the District Institute of Education and Training Nongstoin , Nongpyndeng West Khasi Hills – 793119, Meghalaya for conducting D.Ed Course of Elementary Teachers for 2 years duration with an intake capacity of 50 (fifty) vide letter No. File No. ME-E/N-2/2006/1948(1) Dt. 26 October 2009.
